We are situated right in the heart of Wall Heath, a small village in the West Midlands with a population of 12,000. Community is incredibly important to us here at Church of the Ascension, we are surrounded by local businesses, coffee shops, restaurants and pubs, all of who we serve and are in turn, local supporters of our mission.

The Church plays a vital role within Village life, being the central hub for numerous events throughout the year, as well as a meeting point for various community groups for all ages.

We are incredibly thankful to the people of Wall Heath after successfully crowdfunding for our Church Clock to be repaired, after being out of action for 6 months, with incredibly generous donations made from Wall Heath Village People, Kewford Eagles Football Club and The Shaz Saleem Foundation. Further to this, we were financially supported by Wall Heath Park Committee in repairing some fence panels in late 2024, which ensured the fence was safe and secure for continued outdoor use by our congregation and wider community.
