Eco Church is a programme throughout England and Wales which encourages churches to care for creation through their worship, buildings, land, community engagement and lifestyle choices.

Since December 2024 we have been actively working towards our Bronze Award, with the goal of achieving it by September 2025. We hope to gain our Silver by September 2026 and Gold by September 2027, so watch this space for updates!

As part of the work towards our Bronze Award we have already made active changes to the way we worship and teach - creating climate focused prayer cards, using local flowers and foam free arrangements and running specific groups to focus on how we can continue our eco church progress.

Further to this, we are soon hoping to make upgrades to our Church Hall which will support us in our buildings becoming more environmentally friendly.
